Building a collage out of layers
PhotoJam doesn’t have a single "collage" button — instead, a collage is just what you get from opening several photos into one project: each one becomes its own layer, free to move, resize and reorder independently.
Selecting several layers at once unlocks align (left, center, right, top, middle, bottom) and distribute (even horizontal or vertical spacing) — the fastest way to turn a rough pile of photos into a neat grid or row without dragging each one by eye.
Add a shape layer behind a photo, a rectangle for instance, to create a border or frame around it, or a text layer for a caption — both work exactly like the photo layers, so they align and distribute alongside them too.
Because everything lives in one project with full undo/redo and autosave, you can keep coming back to refine the arrangement rather than committing to a final layout up front.
