The right image size for every social network, built in

Sizes built into PhotoJam

Starting a new project offers ready-made presets for an Instagram post and story, a YouTube thumbnail, a Facebook post and cover, a Twitter/X post, a LinkedIn banner, and A4 for print, alongside the option to type a fully custom size.

A few presets go further and come pre-composed with sample layers already in place — a sale-announcement Instagram post, a quote for Instagram Stories, a bold YouTube thumbnail layout, a Facebook cover announcement — so you’re editing existing text and shapes rather than starting from a blank canvas.

Platforms occasionally change their recommended dimensions; if a preset here ever drifts from what a network actually wants, the New Project dialog also accepts a fully custom width and height, so you’re never stuck with only the presets.

Whichever size you start from, the same full toolset applies — layers, text, adjustments, crop — so a social post gets the same editing power as any other PhotoJam project, not a stripped-down version of it.

Frequently asked questions

Which platforms have presets?

Instagram (post and story), YouTube thumbnail, Facebook (post and cover), Twitter/X, LinkedIn banner, and A4 for print.

Can I still use a custom size?

Yes, the New Project dialog accepts any width and height you type in, alongside the presets.

Do the templates come with content already on them?

Some do — a few presets start pre-composed with sample text and shapes you can edit, instead of a blank canvas.

Can I resize an existing project to a different platform later?

Yes, canvas resize lets you change dimensions at any point, with the option to scale existing layers along with it.
